Besta Palace in Teglio (SO) – seismic hazard analysis
The diagnostic campaign carried out meant it was possible to achieve a confidence factor FC=1,21.
Seismic vulnerability analysis was carried out in two phases:
- Preliminary analysis of seismic vulnerability at level LV1 through simplified mechanic modelling as foreseen by Italian Seismic Guidelines for Heritage Buildings
- Seismic vulnerability analysis at level LV2 for the identification of particularly vulnerable localized factors (macro-elements).
As prescribed when working with listed buildings, the analysis was implemented through the SIVARS standard computer application for seismic risk evaluation of public heritage buildings.
