Technical director - Laboratory director

Born in 1965 in Tirano , I graduated from the Politecnico di Milano university in 1990. I have been involved in the professional upkeep of cultural heritage for over 20 years. Structural investigation, diagnostics and monitoring are my specialist fields in which I possess the level 3 qualification for non destructive testing on concrete, reinforced concrete pre-stressed concrete and masonry with further qualification for rope access on historic and iconic buildings. In conservation, I have managed maintenance, reinforcement and seismic protection projects on monuments like churches, castles, palaces and archeological sites.  

I co-ordinate significant international projects concerning cultural valorization which feature the latest technology in diagnostic methodology. I have authored over twenty papers, presented at national and international conventions, on structural diagnostics and planned conservation.

Technical director

Born in Tirano in 1964, I graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 1989 in civil engineering and was registered the same year on the engineers council of the Sondrio province.

I deal with the planning, management and accounting of all work including on site safety, testing, consultation and surveying, both for public and private bodies.

I am also responsible for energy consumption (hydro-electric and thermo-technical), control of material usage and production cycle, civil and industrial construction, structures in steel, R.C. and wood both for new builds and restoration, fire prevention territorial management (stability of hillsides and mountain water courses), infrastructure (roads, bridges, aqueducts, drains and electrical grid).

Born in Tirano in 1977, I graduated at the Università degli Studi in Pavia in infrastructural engineering in 2002 and have been registered on the engineers council of the Sondrio province since 2003.

Since 2007, I have been responsible for FMAcompany safety and am in charge of prevention of and protection from risk in the workplace.

I work on planning, management and accounting of projects, health and safety co-ordination during planning and execution for both private and public bodies.

I carry out structural diagnosis and monitoring and possess the level 3 qualification for non destructive testing on concrete, reinforced concrete, pre-stressed concrete and masonry.  I also manage energy consumption analysis using specific thermo-technical software.

Born in Tirano in 1981, I graduated from the Politecnico di Milano in 2005 in environmental and territorial engineering. I have been on the engineers council of the Sondrio province since 2006.

I carry out planning, management and accounting for works, inspections and surveying for both public and private bodies.

Using software for FEM and for BIM, I model and test structural reinforcement projects on buildings like churches, castles and residential buildings, with the aim of improving their seismic resistance.

I am a qualified for assessing the building accessibility after seismic events and I was involved in the inspections following the earthquake in central Italy in August and October 2016.

I am the co-author of national and international publications on diagnostics and structural reinforcement.

Partner - Designer - BIM manager

Born in Sondalo (SO) in 1993, graduated at ‘Politecnico di Milano’ faculty of ‘Building Engineering and Architecture’ with a master thesis on “Structural stabilization of ‘Casa degli Amanti’ and architectural restoration of provisional structures of ‘Porta Stabia’” in Pompei.

My work is focused on BIM modeling, particularly of existing heritage buildings, with the use of ‘Autodesk Revit’ software; I develop virtual models on the basis of a point clouds generated via laser scanner surveys.

I also deal with on-site activities related to structural inspection and investigation, particularly diagnostic data analysis and feed-back, structural modeling and analysis, design of restoration work, seismic improvement and adaptation.

Born in Tirano (SO) in 1989, graduated from the ISS "Balilla Pinchetti" in Tirano in Accounting and programmer.

I mainly carry out secretarial and administrative management activities: through a management program I deal with the creation of orders, the management of customer and supplier orders and invoicing.

I also deal with the classification and filing of the company's technical-professional documentation and in particular with the management of documentation relating to the company quality system.

At last, I follow the preparation of administrative documentation for participation in public tenders.

JUNIOR DESIGNER

Born in 1987 in Ceglie Messapica (BR), in 2013 I graduated at the Milan Polytechnic in Architecture, specializing in Design and Protection for Built Heritage. In 2017 I obtained a PhD in Structural Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering and, until 2019, I continuously carried out research activities at the university, mainly dealing with non-destructive diagnostics applied to cultural heritage. I am finishing the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage (SSBAP) of the Politecnico di Milano. In 2020 I obtained the qualification as an architect and in the same year I enrolled in the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan.

I mainly deal with support activities for architectural design and construction management in historical contexts, preparing the necessary documentation in the various stages of development of the project, both in the public and private sectors. I carry out BIM modeling of existing buildings starting from the point clouds obtained from the laser-scanner survey.

I also follow the execution of on-site diagnostic investigations as part of the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of existing buildings, paying particular attention to the phase of returning the results.

Born in Milan (MI) in 1992, I graduated from the Polytechnic of Milan in Architecture, Project and Protection for the Heritage Built in 2017 with a thesis entitled "The Duomo of Milan: Analysis of the state of conservation of the apse". I obtained my qualification as an architect and I enrolled in the Order of Architects of the Province of Milan in 2018. I received my PhD in Structural Seismic and Geotechnical Engineering in 2021 with a thesis entitled "Limit Analysis for Vaults and Domes of Historical Masonry Heritage".

Since 2017 I have been continuously teaching and researching in the university, mainly dealing with applied structural analysis at times and masonry domes.

I mainly carry out modeling and structural checks of historical buildings belonging to the cultural heritage, through specific calculation software that exploit FEM methodologies and macroelements to carry out linear analysis, and then develop the design and testing of facilities.

I also follow the execution of on-site diagnostic investigations as part of the analysis of the seismic vulnerability of existing buildings, taking care of the return phase of the results.

Born in Gravedona (CO) in 1990, I graduated from the University of Pavia in 2016 in Building Engineering-Architecture, doing a thesis entitled "Living the slope, recovery and re-functionalization of the Ascensor Villaseca of Valparaiso, Chile".  In 2017 I obtained the qualification to practice as an engineer and from 2018 I am enrolled in the Order of Engineers of the province of Sondrio.

I deal mainly with modeling in the BIM field and process management, in particular for existing monumental buildings, developing the model of the state of fact starting from the cloud of points and integrating it with the design phases.

I also support architectural design, construction management, and on-site inspection and structural investigation activities to verify seismic vulnerability, in particular by taking care of the processing and return of diagnostic results.

Born in Sondrio in 1991, I graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti S. Giulia in Brescia in 2015 with a degree in New Technologies of Art, and subsequently completed a Master’s in Ecodesign, IoT, Lifecycle & Urban Regeneration.

My work focuses on BIM modelling and process management for both new construction and existing buildings. I develop as-built models from point clouds, CAD drawings, and available documentation, ensuring data integration across different design phases. I am involved in model validation and in the preparation of drawings and technical reports supporting the BIM process.

I design workflows that leverage interoperability between BIM and 3D graphics tools to produce realistic and accurate representations of existing structures. I also support design and restoration projects by creating design views and 3D visualisations of proposed interventions.

Additionally, I conduct on-site surveys and inspections to gain direct knowledge of existing conditions, cross-referencing point cloud data with available documentation.

Born in Teramo in 1989, I am a registered member of the Order of Engineers of the Province of Ancona (No. 4661, Section A). I graduated in Civil Engineering in 2018 and subsequently obtained a PhD from the Università Politecnica delle Marche (disciplinary sector ICAR/09 – Structural Engineering), with research focused on structural health monitoring and seismic risk reduction.

My work focuses on the structural design and assessment of buildings and infrastructure under both static and seismic conditions, with particular emphasis on vulnerability assessment and the design of seismic strengthening and retrofitting interventions, in compliance with NTC 2018 and the Eurocodes. I have also gained experience in Oil & Gas projects involving the application of international standards.

I specialise in structural diagnostics and monitoring, with specific expertise in vibration measurement — for which I hold a Level 3 certification — and in the dynamic characterisation of structures (OMA, EMA), developed during my doctoral research and applied to both civil and infrastructure projects.
