Torrazzo bell-tower in Cremona
The tower is 112 m tall; up to 70m, the tower is square plan brickwork, from 70 to 112 m it is an octagonal spire tower known as "ghirlandina".
The inspection carried out concerned external surfaces at the top of the brick section around the crenelation, the eaves and the window recesses. On the west and south external surfaces, there was a growth of vegetation on the external mouldings of the tower.
Inspections were carried out externally from the terrace at 70m height using rope access techniques.
