Rio Bondai medieval bridge in San Lorenzo, Banale (TN)
Bridge masonry work was in an evident state of disrepair and analysis aimed at collecting metric and material information concerning masonry foundation structure as well as that at a higher elevation.
Explorative bore holes were drilled for analysis of flooring and support structures. The project foresaw the use of continuous sub-vertical and horizontal coring with endoscopic video inspection in bore holes. This allowed for the detecting of irregularity in the architectural and stacking masonry.
