As a result of participating in an open tender, in which both service quality and price criteria were evaluated, Foppoli Moretta e Associati was awarded a package of services concerning three buildings located in Caneva (the Carabinieri station headquarters), Maniago, and Spilimbergo (the Fire Brigade stations), all situated in seismic zones 1 or 2.

The company will carry out the services in full, starting from laser-scanner surveys, which will be delivered in BIM format, and structural and energy diagnostic investigations, through to seismic vulnerability assessments and energy audits. The surveys and analyses will allow the identification, within the feasibility study, of the best solutions for seismic upgrading and energy efficiency improvements of the buildings.

Foppoli Moretta e Associati has extensive experience in conducting investigations, vulnerability assessments, and designing seismic improvement interventions, particularly on strategic or high-occupancy buildings, gained through numerous previous assignments. Notable examples from the past year include work on the buildings of the former judicial prisons and the Rovereto (TN) courthouse, as well as all the Guardia di Finanza stations in the provinces of Sondrio and Como.
