VERIFICATION OF SEISMIC VULNERABILITY OF STATE-OWNED PROPERTIES LOCATED IN TRENTO PROVINCE

The assignment concerned the verification of seismic vulnerability, together with the energy diagnosis, geometric, architectural, technological and plant survey returned by BIM mode for the Barracks of the Carabinieri of Levico Terme, Lavarone and Rovereto, for the Government Commissariat and the Questura of Trento, all for a total volume of buildings equal to 85'300.00 m³.

During the course of the assignment, various activities were carried out including documentary research and historical-critical analysis and on-site structural inspection aimed at preparing the diagnostic investigation plan and measuring the cracking picture. Following the sharing of the diagnostic plan with the competent Superintendent where necessary, structural investigations were carried out on site by the scribers, aimed at the knowledge of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the structures, Adopting different types of survey based on construction technology. The results of the diagnostic campaign made it possible to carry out a structural analysis at the level of knowledge LC3 (the maximum defined by the legislation) and to know the main construction details of the buildings. The laser scanner survey has provided very high precision three-dimensional geometric information underlying BIM modelling. All BIM models are georeferenced and implemented with the information obtained from the analysis of historical documentation, diagnostic investigations and structural inspection.
