In the years 2015–2017, Foppoli Moretta e Associati, in partnership with leading European universities such as Politecnico di Milano (IT), KU Leuven (BE), Delft University of Technology (NL), and Uppsala University (SE), participated in the development of a major research project funded by the European Union.
The project, entitled “Changes: Changes in Cultural Heritage Activities: New Goals and Benefits for Economy and Society”, was co-financed by the European Community under the JPICH (Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change: a new challenge for Europe – HERITAGE PLUS) call.
The research aimed to simultaneously produce new models of conservation policies applicable to European cultural heritage and the specific expertise needed to optimize approaches to Preventive and Planned Conservation, Maintenance, and Monitoring. The contents and results of the research are available on the project website: http://www.changes-project.eu/.
The European Union has created a new platform, "Heritage Research Hub", to share best research practices developed through EU funding. The Changes project has been included on this platform and can be accessed at the following link: https://www.heritageresearch-hub.eu/project/changes/
