Signing of the CHANGES research agreement

Foppoli Moretta and Associates signed, together with the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Politecnico di Milano, the national agreement for the development of the European research program CHANGES (Changes in Cultural Heritage Activities: New Goals and Benefits for Economy and Society).
The project, co-financed by the European Union under the Joint Programming Initiative on Cultural Heritage and Global Change: a new challenge for Europe – JPICH Heritage Plus, is being developed by FMeA (as an SME), in partnership with leading European universities including the Politecnico di Milano (IT), KU Leuven (BE), Delft University of Technology (NL) and Uppsala University (SE).
The research aims to simultaneously develop new conservation policy models applicable to the diverse and rich European cultural heritage, and the specific skills required to optimize the approach to Preventive and Planned Conservation, Maintenance, and Monitoring.
The project will develop materials, technologies, and procedures for sustainable long-term care, understood as a strategy to manage change in a context where cultural heritage is approached in connection with people, as a tool to foster social cohesion and human capital.
