Contract signed for the Alpine School of the Guardia di Finanza in Predazzo (TN)

Confirming the excellent work carried out so far for the offices of the Italian State Property Agency across multiple regions, Foppoli Moretta & Associates signed yesterday in Bolzano the contract for the analysis and design of the interventions required to achieve the seismic improvement of the Alpine School of the Guardia di Finanza in Predazzo (TN).

The complex consists of several buildings constructed in different historical periods and using various construction technologies: the original core dates back to the late Austro-Hungarian administration; following the transition to the Kingdom of Italy, the complex was expanded, and over the last fifty years additional reinforced concrete buildings have been added. The assignment covers laser-scanner surveying, diagnostic investigations, seismic vulnerability assessment, energy audit, and design of interventions for the seismic improvement/upgrade of the entire complex, which includes 11 existing buildings at the Predazzo site and 3 buildings located at Passo Rolle.

This represents one of the most significant engineering and architectural assignments awarded to date by the Trentino-Alto Adige Regional Directorate of the Italian State Property Agency, and it will be carried out by a consortium led by Foppoli Moretta e Associati (FMeA), which also includes ABeP srl of Pordenone, Ingegneria e Dintorni of Codroipo, and geologist Riccardo Cortiana of Monza.
