Tirelli farmhouse in Novi di Modena (MO)
Restoration and seismic retrofitting of a farmhouse intended as a balsamic vinegar production units in Modena following the earthquakes of 20th and 29th May 2012.
Damage was repaired and earthquake proofing improved through the use of fibre-reinforced materials (G.F.R.P.), strengthening of metal structures and supporting hoods, roof strengthening and connection between roofing and framework around openings and entrances.
