Edipower hydro-electric power station in Mese (SO) and accessorial services
During hydro-electric plant re-powering at the Mese plant, Foppoli Moretta e Associati was responsible for safety co-ordination and operations in:
- internal plant safety during a fully operational work period;
- substitution of pipeline walling in the Cigolino loading tank. Services were carried out in a highly inaccessible tunnel with hydraulic safety issues, load movement and electrical equipment usage;
- pipeline inclination correction (at 150m inside the rock face). Project management in a highly challenging operative zone requiring fume evacuation, without emergency escape routes all while normal plant operations were in progress.
On top of this, environmental, design and legislative studies were carried out on further sections of the plant.
