Watering plant of the Middle Valtellina
Project phases were aimed at improving in water management for agricultural purposes as follows:
- the up-grading of cathode protection irrigation systems in the areas of Tresivio, Ponte in Valtellina, Piateda, Chiuro, Teglio, Bianzone and Villa di Tirano;
- the substitution of regulation and control machinery at the “S.Rocco” storage point and Intermediate work on the Valfontana river;
- flow measurement and minimum hydraulic power requirement system installation at Rhon and Valfontana in Ponte in Valtellina and Tresivio;
- re-activation of flow measuring stations at the Boalzo river in Bianzone.
