Access road to the sports centre in Tirano (SO)
The extra-urban category F road giving access to the Tirano sports centre is a two lane road (width 7.00 m plus edging), with a length of around 950 m.
Given the high elevation of the site, for the road bearing walls, using reinforced concrete was necessary with permanent engineering tie rods. The surface was created with modified polymer tarmac with extensive planting of the hillside to ensure maximum stability of the below-surface structure.
